Typically roofing companies will try to scare you that you need to replace roof and claim insurance. Rose roofing gave honest opinion and very competitive price on general maintenance and life of roof. They also were very prompt at getting a quote and getting it fixed. Will recommend for any roof work or evaluation.

They were very flexible and accommodating with the scheduling. The job was done fast and on time.

Several decades ago Rose Roofing replaced my one-story house roof. They used high quality materials, and did excellent, fast work at a very fair price. Contacted Rose Roofing based on their strong online reviews. Called (May22) stating I needed an inspection and repair from some recent storm damage. Had an appointment inside of a week which was fine as we had no obvious leaks. Jonathan the owner came out and inspected the damage and it wasn’t too severe and he was able to repair it right then and there. He was fantastic and informative and was reasonably priced. I highly recommend Rose Roofing if your looking for a reliable Roofing contractor.

I kinda joke about the fact I’ve never met a roofer who told me everything is ok, but many of them are laser focused on selling you new roof regardless. I have a 13 year old roof without any leaks, but I’m a realist that it probably needed some TLC. And, I wouldn’t know what to look for anyway. Jonathan gave me an honest and upfront overview of what I needed to have repaired and told me I probably have another 4-5 years of life on my roof. I appreciated the honest approach and prompt work.

Where do I begin… Rose Roofing is a top-notch and trustworthy company. I first called them to repair a roof on a home I used to own in the Heights and I’ll never forget Mr. Rose passing on the job because he honestly didn’t know if he could fix a vexing situation with our flat roof. This is not a company that will take your money and run. They have integrity. When we later moved to a different neighborhood I did not hesitate to call Rose Roofing to install a new roof from scratch. We have had it for seven years and it’s still in superb condition. I cannot recommend this company enough. A close friend just had Rose install a new roof on her Heights home with similarly pleasing results.

Rose Roofing supported my elderly neighbor; quickly made repairs after reaching out to them and then my neighbor became ill. She was hospitalized for two and a half weeks, Rose Roofing was very understanding of her late payment.

Since we had about 15 inches of rain with heavy winds this month, we developed a leak on the flashing of our roof. Jonathon Rose came out the next day after my call. Rose Roofing run by Jonathan Rose is incredible. I literally cannot say enough good things about this Company. Jonathan Rose gave me a great price on a complete removal and replacement of a 30 year old 4000 square foot asphalt shingle roof and did the entire job in a day and a half. It was just incredible. And that included new roof jacks and ridge vents and hauled away the old roof materials. His workmen were quality workers, very professional and Jonathan is the nicest guy to work with that I’ve ever met. If you need a roof I highly highly recommend using him.

My first experience with Rose Roofing was with Ken Rose in Sept or so of 2008. That project was a tear-off and replacement job that was just beginning as hurricane Ike hit. The project concluded ahead of schedule and I could not have been more impressed or satisfied!

The current visit was basically repair work around the chimney and water-heater vent pipe collars. Jonathan Rose was out one morning and by mid-afternoon the next day, everything was repaired just before rain hit late afternoon. Another very positive experience and again, an elated customer. I had a small leak around one of the heater vent pipes. I wanted to find someone I could trust. Rose Roofing replaced my roof on my former house 15 years ago and was satisfied so I called. Jonathan came out and said it was an easy fix. I also asked about how much more life in my roof. He said I had several years and did not try to sell me a new roof. They came out 4 days later and did the repairs. Everything was great. They are very knowledgeable and keep you well informed. The price was what I expected. Will use them again.

Did a great job..

Rose Roofing was great! We had previously had our roof “repaired” and it did not take care of the problem. Rose Roofing came out, at the time that they said they would be here, and inspected the roof top and in the attic and determined the problem. Very reasonably priced and they came out the very next morning and got it fixed. We just had a very bad storm in Houston a couple of days ago and no leaks! Would highly recommend Rose Roofing – very professional and courteous and did great work.

We live in Bellaire and recently undertook some significant home improvement projects, including roof replacement. We solicited bids and met with several contractors before we decided on Jonathan Rose and Rose Roofing. Rose’s bid was not the lowest, but their work came highly recommended by a friend and we are so pleased with the final product. When we met with Jonathan there was another rep from a different company here at the same time finishing up his estimate. Jonathan was professional and cordial, so we avoided what we feared might be an awkward scheduling conflict. Jonathan patiently answered all our questions about the materials they used, the difference in their shingles compared to other brands, questions about the number of nails per shingle, and a host of other questions that satisfied our concerns. When they began the work, the crew arrived early and worked hard throughout the day. We were concerned that some debris might get into our neighbors yard so we’d gone over to let them know beforehand this was happening, but Rose went over to speak with them, too, in order to explain that they’d be coming over to inspect and clean up anything from our roof that landed on their side, which I appreciated. I also spoke to our neighbors and offered to come over to look and pick up after Rose left, but they assured me that their was no need as they’d done an outstanding job of cleaning up everything on their side. The Rose crew was conscientious, neat, and did an outstanding job to ensure they cleaned everything up at the end each night and when they completed the job. The roof looks great, and I’d hire Rose again in a heartbeat.

My house is 35 years old. Rose Roofing put a new shingle roof on about 10 years ago. We have been very pleased with the roof that was installed and the ridge vent that they added to the top of our roof. Over the years we have had a few different issues with small leaks. If you ask me, this is when you find out if a company is just out to install a product and be done with you, or do they stand behind their product and workmanship. This contractor came and did a proper inspection of the affected roof and then clearly explained what’s need be done to me. Jonathan came out on quick notice to inspect our roof that was leaking at the seam of an old vent. It’s good to see a CEO that is hands on with their work! Jonathan was sure to provide us with different ways of fixing the problem, and we ended up removing the plastic vents all together, since they were unnecessarily left on place by our previous roofers. Pricing was very fair, and they threw in our kick-out flashing that we needed for free. The job took just 3-4 hours and the roofer who did the work required little to no attention from us the entire time. This is the second time that Rose Roofing has done work for me. I thought I might be ready for a new roof (many of the neighbors are replacing theirs) but they said that it just needed some repairs, which included a replacement attic vent, minor shingle repair, and some work on the chimney flashing. From my recent experience, Rose Roofing can be counted on not to sell you a complete roofing job when a repair is all that’s needed. Their folks are highly professional and always willing to take the time to explain what’s needed, what they recommend, any alternatives, and what the cost will be.

Rose Roofing is our go-to source for help on anything outside of the plywood sheathing on our roof. They’ve always responded quickly whether we’ve had storm damage or simply wanted to inspect/repair normal wear and tear issues. Recently, we had them inspect, re-seal, and paint all of the roof jacks on our house. Everyone at Rose Roofing is personable, professional, and put good customer service above all else.

I cannot speak highly enough about Rose Roofing. We have been using them for roof repairs since right after Hurricane Harvey. Eventually, after our 6th leak, Jonathan assessed our roof and informed us that while the shingles were decent quality, the installation prior to our purchase had been poor, and he recommended a new roof. He showed me how some of the shingles would just slide off with a nudge of his foot, which would allow water into our attic. However! He did not push, and we had him out after the last storm and our 8th leak to finally install a new roof. He and his crew finished the job in a single day. I have YET to find a loose nail, everything was cleaned, and the warranty is transferable to any future buyers. Jonathan also checked in the next day to make sure I liked the aesthetic of the new, darker roof color. If you live in Houston and want a company that understands our shifting soil and our hurricane seasons, PLUS treats you like family – Lynda, in their office, is a gem – you have to use Rose Roofing.

WOW! These guys were GREAT! They showed up early, brought a large team, and they all got straight to work. Wow!! I’d heard these guys were amazing and they really were. I mean, I’d expect this level of service from a company putting up a $50,000 roof that deals primarily in River Oaks (well, I’m sure these guys do that, too, but I just felt extra special here in Bellaire). The good stuff. 1) they had a quote to me in less than two days. No personal contact needed. 2) the quote was the same or lower as I had gotten from other companies. The upgrade was only $500 more. 3) they suggested three options which reduced my buyers anxiety 4) they gave discounts 5) when I finally returned my contract, they called the next day and scheduled for two days later 6) they came on Friday and left on Friday. And done. I got lucky but WOW, my neighbors love me. My yard was immaculate. In fact, I think it looked better…but seriously, one day!! 7) I think I’m on 7…anyway, I paid my bill and got GORGEOUS red roses that made my boyfriend jealous. If Rose Roofing was a guy, I’d totally date him. Since they’re a roofing company, all I can do is talk them up wherever I go. Amazing. Just amazing.

We had a roof repair performed which consisted of replacing the flashing around our chimney to fix a leak, and installing ridge vents over the house and garage to reduce heat buildup in the attics. I called Rose roofing because my neighbor let me know that they put on our roof in 2003 and we should both use the same company after the hail damage in Houston in April. When I called Jonathan to get an estimate he found the original estimate, house measurements, and pictures still stored in his Dad’s old files! I had to have a new roof put on when I purchased my home and I am very glad I chose Rose Roofing. They were very patient while I dealt with the red tape of a homeowners association. Once we had to go ahead, the old roof was off, and the new roof on and cleanup all in less than a day. Great workmanship, amazing customer service and very professional all around. We wanted to get our roof replaced before moving in so there was some pressure to start quickly and Rose did. The roof on our 5200 sq ft home was complete in a day and a half. We got several bids and Rose was the best in every category. I’d recommend it to my best friends.

Nobody really wants to have to deal with a roof repair or replacement, but if you’re in that situation, Rose Roofing is the roofer to choose from. I’ve worked with them since Hurricane Ike in 2008, and they’ve always done excellent work and given me honest advice. I just had a complete roof replacement, and I swear my yard was cleaner after the crew finished than it was before they arrived, and of course the new roof is beautiful.

I experienced a leak from a roof vent; came home to it on a Friday evening. After asking around for recommendations from friends and researching online and on the BBB website over the weekend, I decided to submit an online request to Rose Roofing. I heard from them Monday morning, the owner came and inspected on Tuesday and the roofing team was able to come and repair by Thursday prior to a weekend of expected heavy rains. They let me know when they arrived and sent before and after photos and did a great job on the vent replacement and repair.

I had a leak on my 2nd story roof on a Saturday night with bad rain. I left a message with a few companies and Jonathan contacted me that Sunday morning. He came out Monday morning and checked everything out. He told me what I needed replaced now and what could wait and explained why for both cases. When he left, he gave me a time the next day to have it done and with a reasonable price. But when he left I forgot to mention a concern I had on the 1st floor garage roof. He was kind to tell me no worries, we’ll check it out when we come and change the adjustment. His company came when they said and finished with me feeling comfortable. The tiles matched the older ones and you couldn’t tell there was a problem!!!! I would recommend Jonathan without hesitation!!! Positive, Pleasant, Punctual and Professional are all words I would use to describe this young man! Thank you Sir, and if I ever have a roof issue in the future, you are the man I will be calling!!!

After the hail storm in April 2019 I needed my roof replaced. After a few estimates, I decided Rose Roofing was the right choice. They were professional, answered all of my questions including the ones I didn’t know to ask and gave me a great offer. The only problem, my HOA refused to allow Owens Corning shingles. The HOA only allowed certain brands and when I did my research the brands they wanted me to use were not as good of quality as the Owens Corning brand. Rose Roofing became my champion in the fight to get my shingles approved. They battled it out with my HOA for months while keeping me updated on what was happening. Finally in January 2020 we got the approval to put a new roof on my house. When it came time to put on the new roof they were quick, efficient, and kept me updated on what was going on while I was at work. I love my new roof. Five stars guys! You deserve it!

Based on Consumer Reports, I selected Owens Corning shingles. From there, I went to the OC site to review their recommended contractors. I looked at the best 3 in my area and met with each of them. Based on my interviews, I selected Rose and they did not disappoint. The crew was very thorough and worked hard. Highly recommend.

Jonathan Rose came out and gave a free estimate for a handful of roofing repairs that was very reasonable. We didn’t end up pulling the trigger on that but he was so nice that we called him back for installation of a new roof jack we needed for a tankless water heater install. I used Angie’s List and called Rose Roofing to take a look at the leak I had. It seems that the glue used at the base of each shingle to keep it from flapping up in the wind had come loose in a small area over the dinette area of the house (south side of the roof). So what was happening was that in driving rain with wind coming from the south the shingles would lift because of the wind and the rain would blow in under the shingles. Over time it was enough to create the leak I saw in my ceiling. He did a full inspection of the roof and didn’t see this problem anywhere else. I got lucky this time because the leak stain area over the dinette table was only about the size of a half dollar. It may have taken a lot longer for me to notice the leak if it had not dripped a few drops of white sheet rock residue onto the dinette table. It was a quick fix for the tech to apply glue and solve the problem with very minimal cost. Two things worked in my favor, the young man who came out was the Company Founder’s Grandson, so he was literally around roofers his entire life and wise about roofing way beyond his age. The second thing was that he was honest. They are an “A” in all of the categories with hundreds of reviews on Angie’s List. Needless to say Rose Roofing contact info will be put into my Outlook Contacts and will be the roofer I go to again in the future if needed.

From the time I first contacted them at Rose Roofing it has been nothing but professionalism until the end. The assistant in the office was such a joy to talk to and she was so interested in me being satisfied as well as the owner. The roofer that came out to do the work was very professional, timely, courteous and he did excellent work. And the clean up was like he was never here except for the roof work. I was originally referred to them by a friend after a water leak from a storm. They did an awesome job and did not do more than was needed. During Harvey I had a leak at the exhaust pipe of the water heater on my roof. Rose Roofing sealed the area for a nominal fee – I knew I would give them more work in the future.

A roof leak occurred at another home and Rose Roofing said they were busy and could not get to the job readily. I asked other roofers to give me a quote on replacing the roof. They did and their price quotes were very much like Rose Roofing but their service was not. I waited and had Rose Roofing replace the roof. Job was efficient (one and a half days). Clean (all debris was removed) and service was great – communication photos and payment.

I interviewed a number of companies before choosing Rose. Not the lowest price, but certainly not the highest price. Reasonable pricing, and very prompt about return calls and questions. At the end of the job, there were some minor issues, and the owner Jonathan worked with me on them. I highly recommend this roofing company. We discovered that we needed a new roof due to hail damage. Worked with our insurance to get that part handled and started looking for roofing companies. What I liked about Rose Roofing was their open and honest conversation about our roof. Other companies wouldn’t give me a quote unless I showed them the insurance statement. That wasn’t the case here. Jonathan came out, measured my roof, mentioned he was giving me two quotes, 1 standard and 1 deluxe, and also mentioned that he thought we’d need additional ventilation as our roof was essentially baking with lack of ventilation. I had the quote that same day via email at an extremely fair price.

We scheduled our roof installation for the following week and got a discount for scheduling so quickly. The workers arrived promptly at 7 am and got to work. They were wonderful, quick, and were exceptionally detail-oriented. They were finished by 4 pm and made this entire experience extremely easy.

We have used Rose Roofing twice now and we really like the friendly service, quality work, and quick response. They are also reasonably priced, which we appreciate. I will call them again when we need our roof repaired or to replace the roof.

Just had a minor roof repair done. Jonathon was professional, quickly diagnosed the problem, gave me two options on how to fix, did the repair, and documented with before and after pictures – all for a very reasonable price. I had been pleased with the major repairs they had done on another house and continue to be impressed.

We had a roof leak and he went up on my roof to inspect it and took a video of the entire roof to show me what it looked like up there. The repairs were very affordable and were done quickly. The people who answer the phones are friendly and polite as well. I’m overall very impressed with this company and will continue to use them if I need roof work and will recommend them to everyone I know.

After several months of preparing to have a new roof installed and acquiring quotes, the final decision came down to two companies. I chose Rose Roofing based on several factors – Jonathan was very knowledgeable, prompt and detailed in answering the many questions I had, the quote I received listed specific details of items/materials that would be replaced and used for the roof, they have excellent reviews online, in the community, and last but not least I believe this company is faith based.
